David Blackley, winner of an "Around the World" Tall Ships race is selling his trailer yacht "Windsong" for charity.
Fibre glass interior and exterior. Built of Paulownia timber - Paulownia is a superlight, super strong material used in surf boards, skis and kite boards. It does not rot or warp.
Swinging retractable centreboard. Carbon fibre self supporting rotating mast. (no need for rigging)
Suitable for off shore sailing.
Owner is accepting offers for this trailer yacht with all proceeds to go to the Summerhill A1 Youth Academy.
Owner is also ready to discuss all reasonable offers for the Paulownia frames and plans for build of a replica sailing yacht. Owner feels this is now a project for a younger boat enthusiastic or possibly a club.
