Her modern sleek good looks belie her 1977 launch date, as does her condition with a series of long-term loving owners over the years. This well performed and popular Wellington racer underwent a major refit in the early 2000’s to equip her for subsequent world touring duties- including two circumnavigations, numerous Pacific Island adventures, and extensive NZ coastal cruising- and she’s still a strong, powerful vessel and a joy to sail, just as you’d expect of a John Spencer design.
Red Herring II is reluctantly offered for sale due to her owner’s work relocation abroad. Hull and engine surveys from 2023 are available on request. Her Nelson Marina rental berth is transferable to her new owner.
