This 12m Laurent Giles Salar 40 launched in 1983 is one of 13 built by Salthouse in NZ. The first of these iconic Laurent Giles designed Salars won the 1966 London Boat of the Show prize and when you view this beauty you will understand why! She has a conventional long keel, a wonderful flare to the bow with that slight chine worked in to the sheer strake, a positive sheer and a long over-hanging transom stern.
