Westwind 3 is a much-admired double-ended Ganley ketch, strongly built of 2 skins of 12mm gaboon ply, glassed over. She is well set up for extended cruising or liveaboard - much much cheaper than a house in Auckland!
She has provided the owner with many happy hours of sailing, but it's time to find a new home for her. She is lined with tongue and groove macrocarpa and is very warm and dry in winter.
She needs some TLC (mostly cosmetic) and will need anti-fouling. Westwind 3 is 42ft on deck, 6ft 4in headroom, full keel, draught is approx 5ft 10in and beam just under 13 feet.
Ford 80hp diesel motor - starts first time, every time. Deep water mooring available for purchase if required. Lying Paihia, Bay of Islands.
