COMMENTS
A fine example of a Charles Bailey Jnr racing yacht from the Golden Age of Gaff Riggers. With an interesting history, she has been recently restored to her original rig: gaff, jib, staysail and topsail. Now back in the water with a new Yanmar 3YM 30hp engine installed with new batteries and wiring.
The LWL 40’ gaff cutter was built in 1904, and is the finest example of a Charles Bailey Jnr racing boat of this era and is of historic significance. She has recently undergone an extensive restoration/rebuild back to its original configuration : Gaff, staysail, jib and topsail.
