A Proven Offshore Expedition Yacht, 30+ years under one ownership. Built by Russell Foley, launched 1981, corten steel, carvel-built monohull with full keel. Approx. 20m LOA, 5.43m beam, 2.80m draft, displacement approx. 54 Tonne. Gardner 6LX 94kW (128hp) diesel, shaft drive, maximum speed 10kts, cr/speed approx. 7.5kts. With a fuel capacity of 3,700L and 4,000L of fresh water tank capacity, as well as a gen-set, she has the right design to stay independent for a long period of time. The ketch rig features aluminium spars, s/steel wire rigging, furling mainsail and headsail systems, mizzen, furling jib, hank-on storm jib, Masport Barlow winches. Open saloon, galley and lounge design stretching over 1.5 decks, accommodation has 3 cabins, 5 single berths in the forward as well as a master bedroom in the aft section with a main bathroom and shower. Huge storage capacity for food and spare parts as well as a walk-in engine room with plenty of head space and it's own work bench. The galley includes LPG cooking, a large freezer, refrigerator and microwave. Navigation and communication equipment includes Furuno radar, GPS and log/speed, Koden depth sounder and fish finder, Simrad autopilot, GME VHF and Icom SSB, together with Furuno wind instruments and weather fax. Expedition-oriented equipment includes a Lofrans hydraulic capstan, substantial ground tackle including a 100lb CQR, 60lb Fisherman and 60lb Plough anchors with approximately 140m of 16mm chain, plus a 3.5m Aqua Pro inflatable with Yamaha 15hp outboard. The vessel is being offered including spare parts, a sextant and other things to be found on board.
