Hot Water System
A beautifully presented classic schooner built in 1930 with an interesting history. She was once owned by General Patton and his wife for a number of years and may even have been owned by Gene Kelly in the 50's as well. After being sailed to New Zealand, she had a 2-year rebuild, resulting in a better than new structure and is immaculately maintained.
Arcturus is currently in Inshore Limits survey to carry 15 passengers. She has accommodation for 9 and her woodwork down below and on deck is immaculate.
Made of laminated timber epoxy with Oregon masts and spars, she cuts through the water with ease and grace, cruising at 8 knots under full sail. When needed, she is powered by a Ford 86HP diesel.
Please note - she has been fully imported into New Zealand.
With Summer coming up, now is the right time to take advantage of buying an up and running charter business where locals can experience life on the water in style and comfort.
