This is a well-known Brin Wilson One Tonner, built for his own use and launched in December 1967. She has a solidly constructed hull in triple-skin, best heart kauri. The skins are glued and nailed to ribs at 6-inch centres. The 2 inner skins are ¼-inch laid diagonally, and the outer is a full ½-inch laid fore and aft. Her design delivers a boat with good racing performance, while still being an easily-handled family cruiser.This vessel has been extensively refitted since her racing days and is now a solid family cruiser or live-aboard. Her main and roller-furling 130% genoa were replaced 5 years ago. She has a spinnaker. There are 2 quarter berths aft, the starboard berth primarily being storage. The galley is to starboard with a large electric freezer to port. Forward are 2 settee berths with a small folding table between. The enclosed head is to starboard and the master double is in the foc'sle. This vessel is well worth inspection.
